What happened about the charity team match at Lydd? I'm going to try and sort it out for around March probably. We're having a problem getting range time at the moment ( one a month at the moment) but that should be sorted by then. We ran a club competition day before Christmas which went well. We had 10 different classes including a short run down shoot, limited exposure, snap shot for shotgun & pistol, a terrorist shoot and a few others. I just need to iron a few things out then I'll post some details and you can all let me know what you think. I'm not sure what the charities will be at the moment but i'm swaying towards a 50/50 split between Help for Heroes and Combat Stress. if we have another rail fund then we can include that as well. The plan will be to invite a few other clubs and we'll have an ARFCOM team. It'll try and have a mix of team and individual competitions as well. |

Like I said, but may be I should clarify; Only a fool would buy a rifle with a detachable 5 round mag and hope that competitions could be modifed to accomodate it. |

Yep I offered you a perfectly good AW with a folding stock, a bucketful of 10 rounders and it had a brand new barrel....and it was already threaded for a can.....and there was a can...............................need I go on?  |

Yep
I offered you a perfectly good AW with a folding stock, a bucketful of 10 rounders and it had a brand new barrel....and it was already threaded for a can.....and there was a can...............................need I go on?
No. But I am sure you will anyway.

It sounds like a fun shoot and very worthy causes so I would like to give it a bash if I can. |
