I need to get some rail covers for my AR. I have "Ladder Rail Protectors" on my Recce Carbine and I am wondering whether I should get some more of them - or go for the XT/XTM Panels.

Anyone got any opinions (on this subject! )

Got Knights panels on the side of my carbine and ladders top and bottom (for the vertical grip) ...

Have Tango Down, ladder and Full Length XT Rail Panels.  I think Full Length XT Rail Panels are the best option, can be trimmed/cut to length with no obvious cuts/breaks.

Am just about to order 12 sets (3x rail panels) for the RN&RMCST as we are going to have new railed hanguards/fore-ends fitted to our L85A2 for AFSAM this year.

I find the full length rail panels to be a bit too fat.

If you have big hands they might be OK, but I'll stick to ladder covers.
