they have very different feed lip style,

so depending on what the 9mm in question's bolt is like you may have problems...

Wrong,
            all thats diferent is the mag well slot to engage the ar15 mag release

Well yes the mag slot locations are different, Except if its going in a unicorn that shouldn't matter,
And the feed lips are different, Trust me I had 4 types of 9mm ar Mag in hand when I wrote that.... (Including a 45acp uzi mag......)

Colt << Uzi 9mm >> Uzi 45ACP





Colt << Uzi 9mm >> Uzi 45ACP

As you can see the feed lips on the uzi mag are different, they are longer and have an upwards angle, which has no effect on a standard blowback bolt.

Also as you can see the cut out at the front of the mag on the colt is a lot more aggressive

and the .45 ACP mag is a 25 round 9mm formed into in all essence a single stack mag at the top.
