Had a little play with my cheap-o helmet mounted camera at the weekend at my club's Xmas Cowboy Shoot. Conditions were kind of muddy and I sank into the mud above the tops of my boots when I got to the shotgun bit (which is where the groan comes from on the video).

Its a bit slower than usual as we shrunk the targets and used clay pigeons for the pistol bit, balloons for the shotgun, and smaller targets for the rifle,

Well if it encourages different demographics to enter the competitions then I'm happy with that. The club has over 200 members and getting 10 people to enter a friendly competition is a roaring success

My mate wanted to try something similar by mounting his Bike Cam (similar to a AA Maglight) on the lower picatinny rail of my Benelli M1... might look good against steels...... or..... melons..

Interesting idea using cams for shooting comps. Had a mate of mine buy me one of these in the US last week. He will be bringing it over soon:

Will use it for motorcross in the desert and also for shooting when I'm back in the UK.

Yes , but it's built tough, waterproof etc so hopefully it'll last some time.

Looks good - a lot more sophisticated than the ATC3K I used - which is basically a digital camera in a different case. This is a picture of a similar setup to mine - its kind of heavy and unbalanced on the head,
