Yes - most recently about 20 minutes ago.

According to the shelf in one of the local Tesco's, the Orchard Fruits one is going to be discontinued...

Looks and sounds G...A...Y to me.  Even the glasses look G...A...Y.  Girly fruity drinks are not for men.
Think I will stick to this.

I don't do Cider, well I once got totally plastered on it as a teenager, and haven't touched it since. Glen Whatever is my poison, beer, and wine, and rum, and brandy, shit I'll drink anything, just not Cider.

Actually I sampled both last night and fell asleep shortly after posting the thread starter.
Woke up at 01.45 and went to bed.

Now as I type, I'm fresh as a fresh thing and getting ready for Bisley, where I'm going to thrash them all

Later

Took your advice. I have never been a massive fan of fruit based drinks . However I remembered we got given a bottle of Hine VSOP last Christmas. I cracked it open last night. I'm not a big Brandy drinker but it was superb

I'm definitely a brandy person. The only whiskey I ever liked was the really nice single malts, but I can stomach a drop in coffee if pushed

It's the Navy's fault anyway, the only two socially acceptable drinks in the Wardroom were G&T or a Horses Neck (brandy & dry ginger, no idea why it's called that). The rest is a hazy history...............

For everyone's info, I thrashed all the ones I beat.

Now I'm going to continue where I left off last night.

If my typing becomes less coherent throughout the evening, you'll know why

There's nothing wrong with a 13.5% Aussie Merlot.

That's coz you're a pddy

Tonight it's Courvoisier for me while watching bits of the Ryder Cup (I know, I know, but I do like decent competition)

Might have a fruit based ladies drink later

Well, we do make better whiskey. And we even know how to spell it properly

Though I do add coke and ice so I am not exactly a purist !

Ah, I see.
1) It's red
2) it's 13.5%
Perhaps a sweet Italian Lambrusco white at 4% would be more to Sir's preference?
