Had a lively walk to work this morning through the city. As I was walking across from Cannon Street to Eastcheap a convoy of five police cars came down Gracechurch Street on the wrong side with the blues & two's going and took off along Cannon St. First two were Beemers with firearms police inside, the third vehicle was a dark blue 4x4 pickup with a roof rack and police written on the side. The last two were a BMW and I think a Vauxhall again all tooled up. These two were silver but had a very narrow yellow line down the side with police written on it, not ones I've seen before to be honest. Mark might know this, was the 4x4 the one out of Lehman St that you mentioned a while ago? The driver of the first car was waving people away and thanking them for getting out of the way, except for a twat on a bicycle who cut across in front of them and I heard a stream of nasty words shouted at him
