Snow here near Worcester, so this is global "warming"? Snow in November! I'm sure some clever boffin will explain how global warming produces unseasonal cold weather.  Oh I remember, it's now called climate change, cold wet summer? climate change mate, early snow? climate change.

Just checked the ornamental garden and Jeeves has just informed me that there is a chill in the air. The boating lake hasn't frozen over, and the orchard shows no sign of frost.

The horses are in the stables so they are not affected, and the servants quarters are well heated.

No snow at present however we are 1000ft above sea level so I've stuck 18 cans of Stella in the amphitheatre to chill, and put the wife's jodphurs on the aga to warm through for the morning.......wouldn't like to give the old Stallion a fright in the morning!!!

Goodnight and God Bless

I was expecting quite a mild winter to be honest, because we had such a cold (and no existant) summer!

Lots of snow over Derbyshire today (last nights fall) several closed roads including the infamous 'Cat and Fiddle'. Macclesfield to Buxton road. [:// It is good fun on a bike in the summer, with several hairpins, dips and rises. Not todat though
