Bloody firing pin is fubar!

where's the best place to get a spare(s)?

Repair it yourself, it's much stronger. The replacement will break in time too.

Get a HSS drill bit, the same diameter as the pin, chuck in a lathe and drill into the firing pin body.
Cut off the drill shank and Loctite it into the firing pin body.
Grind off to length and profile the tip.

It'll last for ever, but.........if it ever does break........can be easily replaced with a bit of heat and a new drill bit

Just broke my Bremmer SAR-15 firing pin today too, must be something in the water :D

Usually Norman Clarke has these, fingers crossed, will be my third pin in as many years

im going to do what mark suggested, having looked at where mine has sheared and how clean the break is, i think his way is the cheapest and best way, have spoken to my old boss, and i'll be going in tomorrow to do it

Those are notorious for breakage with any dry firing.
