Well, following a recent shoot where torches came to foreground I decided I need to "get bright"... But on a budget.. Enter Fenix.... ![]() On the left is the P3D On the right is the P1D Both these units are powered by CR123A batteries (1 in the P1D, 2 in the P3D) which is there only disadvantage unless you have a supply to hand, although buying them from Fenix seems reasonable...... Link I recently upgraded my 4 x "D" Cell Maglite to a drop in LED from Terralux, pushing its output to over 150 lumens ( I bought the P1D initially for its size, 7.1cm x 2.1cm, as it fits on my keys and still spits out 135 lumens.... And pray tell what are you going to |
You ![]() or whatever needs watching

They look good and very useful. Seem to beat surefire on power, but what about quality? Which ones did you order Steven? You'll have to bring them round next time so i can have a look. cya Jim |
Read the instructions on operation of the switch, the tail cap switch and head circuit have 2 operational settings..... I couldn't figure out how to get to strobe and ended up trawling the bin for the instructions.... ... Turbo mode is damn bright.. |
