it weights 2kg fully loaded. I think a holster may be a bit tricky, although calico did produce them i beleive. Unfortunatly i can't make the Comp at Leicester otherwise i would have probably done it with my lbr. and yeah, reloads would be tricky as i only have one magazine, but have been promised a spare. |
|
If you want to bait me into another arguament, how about at the weekend when i have some free time? |
From the inside |
That wouldn't be fair on him |
I think it looks interesting and different. If that's your thing then go for it. If we all had the exact same rifles/lbr/pistol/S1/S5/shotgun whatever then life would be so boring. Thanks for sharing the pics Taffy |
pfft maybe not... i never said the calico was accurate, its more of a fun gun. For competitions i would choose my tricked up 10/22 any day!!! And there is only one way to settle this! Pistols at dawn!!! (propper smooth bore dueling pistols - there will be no cheating here!) I demand you give me a chance to regain my honour! |
A good old fashoined "DUEL" Pistols at dawn....come on guys it's gotta be black powder... Anyone got a video camera..? A nice set of deuling pistols for this event. Orders popcorn.... Cheers Taffy |
Well i have plenty of black powder... and a few nice sets of dueling pistols (Mantons, Mortimers etc...) So, Flintlock or Percussion, any preference? |
Percussion's always good for a laugh.... ![]() I got some info over the web for a guy I know who had a very old pocket/coat pistol and it turned out to be an "Egg"... |
Hehe well my dads into all that black powder stuff, and the biggest supplier of it in the UK (link) He also has a big collection of antique rifles and pistols (mostly cased)... But i'm personally not into all that stuff! |
At least your dad is proof that at least out of the two of you, he's the one with the taste |
I'm not old enough to get into black powder and antiques yet!!! |

in place or without?
