So I'm doing this rehabilitation thing....

"Watching too much TV".....

And tonight I caught Grant Mitchell doing the SAS thing.....In the

rip snorting Ultimate Force extravaganza....

good guys/bad guys/lots of pyrotecnics and very slow parachutists

So my question is....

what were the scopes that they had fitted to their M4's...?

Are they real or just what was hanging around in the props department?

I call it Ultimate Farce !

The slow parachuting was hilarious though

I didn't recognise the scopes on the carbines either.

The sniper dual was really comical

Amazing isn't it, wherever they go on a "mission", it always looks like Pinewood studios.....

The episode set in Africa was amusing - the panned the camera across what looked like a Yorkshire valley and dubbed on the sound of elephants.

M4's are not anywhere near the correct configuration, some of you HRA types have seen what they look like on one of the 'special trips'.

Airsoft scopes of course, and the PRR have a fantasitc range and must be very secure since the way they use them.........

Product placement galore for AI, the bad dude had a 5.56mm straight pull CAM as a sniper rifle, no wonder he lost!

I could go on, but after all it's TV ENTERTAINMENT, and as mentioned above...

Always good entertainment.

I particularly like the AW that went semi auto for a while before it reverted to bolt action.

An the bird with the oldest aimpoint in the world

Here's a few stills of the various scopes...... Dunno WTF they are?

Product placement as per ACR....

Looks twisted to me....

Answers on a postcard....

View down the AI scope...

All seemed to have the same scopes fitted.....

And as for it being my favourite program, that honour is reserved for Come Dancing 2006...

The red dots are Aimpoint Mk 3's, launched 1983. Nice to see that the TV armourers are on the cutting edge of technology.
