I think we need a new "silly"..funny pics thread sticky thingy for the UK forum. AAAhem..! .....the Guns and shooting pics thread has gone slightly off topic me thinks.Guys (where are the UK women AR shooters...I'll see if my missus will pose Taffy |
My wife used to come shooting with me when we had handguns. My 686 was strangely known by her as "HER" gun..... even though she only liked using the girly 38sp semi-waddcutters. Magnum rounds used to be a little "much" for her![]() Since we had Taffy junior she's not been shooting with me and has never fired a rifle I'll take her and post some pics... There ya go ...gauntle thrown... I'll start a new thread and post pics there.... Taffy |
I have the perfect marriage, I work days, the wife works nights, see spends the weekend playing hockey, I go shooting. She sends me a card at Christmas with a picture so I know what she looks like Mrs Scope-eye also used to have 'her own' pistol, a Ruger Security Six, which never shot well with 357s, so we all used 38s (when I was allowed to shoot it, that is) but the pistol ban killed her interest in shooting, she never liked rifle shooting. |

I have had my wife on the range in the past, she call's the Mossberg 500 and the Colt DS2 her gun's She dont really like pistols much, to many buttons & things to get wrong. She won a bet with a neighbour, who was in the Bundeswehr. He bet the wife that he was faster with a P8 than she was with the DS2. She loaded the DS2 and emtied it while he had only fired 2 rounds of the six to be fired. Then he said it wasn't fair because he was going from having a filled mag, and not having to load the mag. What a shame, still didn't explain why the wifey had a better grouping than he did from 10m. ![]() Tony |
