MODEL PRICE
502.A65 £215

512.A65 £285
551.A65 £295
552.A65 £345

For a UK price, they are pretty decent.

For the price we all get them at, about £50-70 too much. Even if we got caught for customs, then it would be a close run thing.

Normal importers are trying to knock them out at £425 for the 552 which is absolutely shocking.

You would also have to check that they were the latest Rev F model.
Better buttons, longer battery life, better water resistance etc etc
5/31/2005 6:49:53 AM EDT
[#3]
Water resistence is the same isn't it? 33ft? Or am I talking out my arse and talking about aimpoints?

I got a Revision E, but to be honest, 1100 hours on revision F, or 600 hours revision E. I think most can live with buying the AA batteries twice as much!

However, who could live with themself after buying a REAL sight from a FAKE gun company

EOTECH EOTECH EOTECH, You've all gone EOTECH mad.
I've got an original Bushnell Holosight, I've had it about 5 years now.
In fact it's my second one.
I was there before you all (as usual)
None of you were interested then, but all of a sudden, the US .mil are using them everyday on the telly in Iraq and you all want them.
You're all f**king posers.
Suppose if the .mil were using illuminated canarie's ring-pieces you'd want those too.
When I got mine, it only cost about £175 or so.
But who want's Holoshghts now? None of you, you all want EOTECH's, even though it's basically the same thing.
And as for NVG compatible , does it matter.

BTW, I've got an ACOG too. Oh wait a minute, I don't have an ACOG......I've got two of them.
And I've got two RIS's, 4 Leupolds, 2 suppressors and loads of other stuff to boot.

Don't have an Airsoft though

And tomorrow I'm going to do what most of you don't do, and that's go shooting.

EOTech, ACOG… pft… Aimpoint!

And were can I get one of those über tactical  illuminated canarie's ring-pieces?

True, I won't be shooting tomorrow, but I will be sat gazing longingly at Tipner range watching the Booties play with their toys.

All this coming from Mr Gucci kit himself!!
He's only jealous. Yesterday, I paraded naked in the mirror whilst looking at my tadger through the Eotech. Fucking tactical I thought. My cock looks very high speed low drag through this sight I said to myself....and the dog.
One cannot do that with a Holosight, for you are forever in the shadow of inferior kit.

I've used my NV button. Mind its only useful if you have gucci NV kit, which I don't. Yet.

And as for shooting I've just been out with the missus doing just that. She says 'ooh, the same rounds as an SA80'. "how did you know that" I said.
'There the same colour' was her reply. Bloody women, she'd better not be trying to push 7.62 into the AR next time I look over.

Average guy don't do 100,000! and that money would be the higher tax bracket. UK average is about £510 per week (US$938)  or £26,500 pa (US$48,750) before tax.

Total stoppages out of my wages are @28%

So Mr Average, (I'm about there wage-wise) would take home about £20,000 (US$ 36,800)

'Sales Tax' is factored in to prices at source… 17.5% VAT, everyone pays it.

Any income you have above the hgher tax treshold (£27,000/$49,000) is taxed at 40%. Add onto that NI contributions (thats for our National Health Service) and you have approx 50% taxtion.

Cost of living is crap, I have things here that I would never have dreamed of owning over there unless I aquired it off the back of a lorry/semi.

Have any of you guys purchased any of the Eotech's off of the EE, and is this possible or is there a possibility they will get held up in customs?

Cost of living?… more like cost of existing now!

IIRC your gas is 92 Octane and ours is 95… no excuse for the insane price of fuel though! Diesel cost more than Gasoline over here now!

Tried to purchase a few things off the EE but the dealers did not want to play. If you get stuff sent through the normal post you can often get away with being picked up for tax, use couriers and you pay every time.  Got burned once… ouch!
