There are some threads in the general discussion forum where our American cousins are expressing support for Tony Blair because of his stance on the Iraq war. So - is it just me who thinks Tony Blair and the Labour party are a bunch of turds? Sound off!! |

We all need another Winston Churchill...Period!!! With that said.........I'm still a BUSH & BLAIR Advocte, against the war on terrorism. Piss on the Democrat's...the Liberal Bastards...And all Socialistic Commie Pig's Now...Just where did I put my bottle of Glenlivet... |

I think Blair's an idiot. Tony Blair that is. (my surname is Blair, much trouble ordering pizzas right now) Anyway, as much of an idiot he is, the tohers aren't an awful lot better. In the UK, not one party is a lot better than the other, a bit like mobile phone service providers. So you can have crappy service, crappy service or really crappy service. Personally, I voted BNP. What you might not realise is the British government would have supported the war on terror which ever side was in power. The majority of the people would have made it impossible for the government to not go. It doesn't matter that it was Blair who was in power, or any of the other leaders, we would have still gone to war, or had our own regime change.... It was the British people that supported the war (the vast majority anyway) and Blair was just chasing the votes (like all good politicians). It came home and bit him in the ass as he lied about the reasons for going to war. If he just admitted that it was not humanitarian, or terror, but really oil, then he wouldn't have got the roasting he did yesterday. There were worse places than Iraq/Saddam for all the reasons above that could have benefitted more from our intervention, but none with oil in abundance (or they had their own nukes!). |
Too true, I'm disappointed that Blair and his chronies got back in and we have to put up with another 5 years of him. I've always been a Labour supporting type of person, but I've had enough of them. Now I know that Howard and his mob wouldn't have been much better, but I would've preferred to have put up with someone else for the next 5 years than have this crowd running the country again. Just watch as they remove even more liberties. I just think that all those that voted for them are happy to be lied too and be deceived time and time again. I would never vote BNP, and for good reason, however their policy towards immigration was valid in some ways and I especially liked their mandate that Britain should have a National Guard system whereas all citizens up to and including 45 year olds would serve and them and all ex members of the Armed Forces would have to keep a modern Assault Rifle and ammunition in their homes to kill burglars with and to defend our borders from invadersMark |
Both! And people from north of Watford. AND people from south of the Thames. Basically anybody not from Essex (or London at a push)

Quoted: Well, in spite of you personal oppinion, it appears as though the majority of people in England who vote would tend to dissagree with you.[/quot A 'majority'? The Conservative Party 35.7% share of the national vote. The Labour Party 35.4% share of the national vote. The Liberal Democrat Party 22% share of the national vote. ANdy |
And there's still one result to come in, and that's in a Conservative heartland. Apparantly one of the candidates died just before the election, forcing the vote to be re-scheduled. In fact all the candidates have to re-apply, so someone who lost in another constituency could now stand again in this one. Somewhere in Shropshire or there abouts. Won't make much difference to the overall standings though. |
But we must remember President Tony has promised he 'really will' get tough on crime this time… honest… so him winning is a 'good thing'. ![]() Roll on the next election and David Davies for Prime Minister… I like the cut of his jib, he has a very positive attitude to firearms ownership too! and to defend our borders from invaders
