I only see hometown forums for US states, "Europe", and the UK. Are there any Israeli shooters lurking around here? If not, what's a good forum to contact some?

That's a great question, loved the Israeli soldiers that I met back in the stone age, great people and very good at what they did.
If you want to know where you can find some serving Israeli Service people send me a PM and I'll send you a link to another board that I frequent, there are service people from all over the world on there and it get interesting when those with hands on experience dispel the myths about one piece of equipment or other. Israel is a fantastic country & if anyone ever has the chance to visit, do so without hesitation.
It is one of the few countries I could see emigrating to No, I am not Jewish, but that really does not matter at all; I felt very comfortable there. The people are highly educated and intelligent. True, they are known for having strong opinions at times. But, they back up their opinions with facts and logic. It is also as diverse, or more so, than the U.S.; I met a girl at a shopping mall near the capitol, Jerusalem, and her English was poor; luckily we easily conversed in Spanish.
