Hello everyone Has anybody else been following this??? UKHTF thread Tony |
That's the only problem with a UKHTF thread it goes off topic (retard) way to quick . The idea is a good one, and I'd like to have a try at organising something along these line's for those here in Germany (Bavaria) or interested shooters from around the €uro-zone that are interested. We'd need to keep the numbers small enough for the average Bundeswehr range to deal with (two 5 lane 300m ranges and two 5 lane 25m ranges) preferably with transit accommodation or camping facilities within walking distance.
From my experience this is a bit adventurous at best and would need the support of a Bundeswehr unit (DVAG) function status to work.. Tony |

Yep, too much OT distracts.
I will be at the RK year-end shooting event on sat. and can talk to the senior NCO there that is coordinating the event. I know that the German military is getting really tight with their range time for civillians. I can also check with a friend of mine up in Graf and see if the US Army is willing to host something. |

So according to this we are talking about the 11–14 March 2011 for the IWA. Now for the big question, before or after the IWA???

No worries Steve, beginning to have my doubts about being able to move mole hills in my old age what with my dodgy back and all, as I'm still awaiting a couple of call backs about the range, but as the Bad Reichenhall barracks, and all of it's facilities are doomed, it'll have to be plan "Z" (I hope).
