I'll be in Italy from July 2 - August 17. I'll spend most of it in class in Urbino, but then I have like 12 days at the end to travel on my own. Any shooting related places to see? Other suggestions will be appreciated too, but I can look for those in travel books and from teachers at school.

Thanks.

Welcome from Tennesse.. you'll find it a TAD different here when it comes to shooting.

i'd tell you to come around in Liguria and pay a visit to one of the most famous fun shops in Italy, run by G. B. Verrina.

it's an Aladdin's cave with anything you can imagine.

Besides that, you'd pay a visit to one of the most beautiful seashores and fishermen's villages in italy.

Do see Venice, you'll regret it if you don't.

I'm up around Lago di Garda in September.

If I had the opportunity I would visit the Beretta factory in ~ Val Trompia.  500 years of gun making, has to make for a nice destination.

One of my favorite day dreams is of going there and hand picking an O/U and meeting the craftmen who would build it.  KInd of like Mercede's  US dealer - European Delivery program.
