The last week, I have read about Colorado, Conneticut, and Florida either introducing or passing senate committees legislation on all kinds of draconian anti gun crap.
I just want to make sure New Mexico has not come up with anything new? I have been trying to help out the best I can the other states, writing emails, especially Colorado, because I travel there to go 4 wheeling and white water rafting, well I use to travel there, even know Utah is further I will be going to Moab Utah more maybe not as often, to do what I enjoy I will not step foot in Colorado, unless its to bring my comrades some 30 rounds mags on my way to Utah

As I type this, the Senate counterpart to HB 77 is probably being reconsidered in the Public Affairs committee. It failed on a tie vote a couple of nights ago but it was (naturally) magically resurrected. Now it has a three gun purchase limit. I hope that it dies again, for good this time, so that our turncoat, stab-us-in-the-back Governor won't get a chance to sign it.
HB 402 appears to still be dead; may it remain so. And don't count on the NMSSA getting any information out. The Silver Spur gun show people have been doing a better job than NMSSA. |

I agree about the Governor screwing us. I thought that she was a shoe in for re-election until this came up... I have never really thought of myself as a single issue voter, but I must say that this crap coming from her has really made me reconsider her receiving my vote. If she will flip on something such as this I can only imagine what kind of other "deals" she is willing to make. |

I hope she is not getting her talking points from that rhino McCain, We need to keep the presure on her, email etc.... |

I'll just be happy when this damn legislative session is over. There is seldom anything positive that comes out of the roundhouse and every year like clockwork those idiots propose and pass more bad laws. It blows me away when idiots call for a 'full time legislature' in New Mexico. Just imagine all the ways they could fuck us if they were in Santa Fe year round passing bills.

I agree with you on your points and I am not completely counting her out just yet, I am just surprised she would even allow something like that. Hopefully in a few days we can consider it dead (for the rest of this year at least) and not have to worry about it. |

The statists try every single fucking year and are relentless, and sooner or later the insane power grabs pass. The sad truth is its only a matter of time.... these cocksuckers will NEVER GIVE UP. It does not matter that the constitution is on our side, nobody gives a fuck what it says and hasn't for decades. Fuck the legislature for even considering it, and fuck the governor for giving in to those cocksucking gun grabbers. Edit: yeah I'm pissed. The CO thing really makes me angry today. So much for my summer vacation state. |

Last year when the media called it a "Do nothing legislative session" all I could think was, Thank God, they screwed us less than normal. |

Check COLO Hometown Forum....we are fighting...recall efforts being made " Fight Back" orgizations are being started. Court challanges being prepped.
All I can say is watch out yourselves...I'm so hoping nothing comes of Santa Fe...my secret weapon is my NM PO box...mail order anything to it and then sneak back...That sucks, but that's my plan. I only have to pass through one (1) county where the Sheriff is backing the statehouse...I just won't speed. I WILL NOT COMPLY |
