| The UPS guy dropped off my Del Ton kit today. I got busy right away putting it together and it went off great but one small problem when I was installing the Pivot Pin Detent it went shooting off. So I need a replacement; I was hoping someone knew where to get one here in Albuquerque? I am very impressed with the Del ton Kit great quality and the fit and finish looks great! |
Congrats bro. I read an article about del-ton in the 2011 black guns mag, the guy said the same thing. I would try BMC tactical on Coors, they seem to have tons of AR stuff. I wish I had one to give ya. And Remember pics when your all done!

Tag for pics. I might have a spare detent around here.... somewhere.... in the carpet....   Two tricks, you can use a piece of coat hanger wire as a detent. Second, use a plastic ziploc bag or other clear bag to assemble and disassemble in. Yippy will be along to tell you his trick.  |

I would think you could get the part from BMC Tactical, JCT Firearms, Calibers, or S&S in Rio Rancho. I would call ahead to make sure before heading over to any of those places...although I think I have actually seen them at S&S. I live in Rio Rancho, but work in Albuquerque (near 25 and Paseo). If you let me know, I can pick you up one tomorrow morning at S&S and bring it with me when I head into work in the afternoon. I am off tomorrow, but will be heading in from 12-2:30 for a meeting so I could meet you before or after that. If you want me to do that, just IM me your cell phone and I can call you in the morning. It wouldn't be a big deal for me at all, so don't hesitate to take me up on it.. |

I was up in Rio a week ago looking for S&S was driving around the Kmart parking lot but never found it. I like going to the shops up in Rio Rancho from time to time i have found some good deals. got a mint 03A3 for $250 and a Ruger Black hawk for $250. |

S&S actually moved over Thanksgiving last year...they are now up on Southern, near 528. I'll go by in the morning and pick up a few if they have them (won't hurt to have a couple extras). Did you also need the spring, or just the actual detent? IM me your cell phone number and I'll shoot you a text in the morning after I leave there. I have a pretty flexible day tomorrow so I'm sure we can work something out... |
