Been here in Sin City since Sunday night on assignment.

I finally got to go to The Gun Store Las Vegas and do some shooting.

I went with The WWII package, an M1A1, MP40 (I used my 20 rounds for the M1911 in the M1A1, as I own several)

The Tommy Gun is a real beast!!!

The Schmeisser fires waaay to fast, but is easy to keep on target.

I just had to get the t-shirt.

Sorry, Dave.  They didn't have a BAR.

It was a fast $100.

Next time I'm going to do the Coalition package.  A SAW, an AK and an M9.

Sounds like a fun way to spend some money very quickly!    I've only got to shoot the M14, M60, M16,AK47, M2 Browning, BAR and M79 (sorry, only single shot) thanks to Uncle Sam.  It would  have been fun to play with a few others on his dime.

I feel it was a better way to spend my money than dumping it in a casino.

Didn't your unit have complete foreign weapons training?  I shot all of those, plus the G-3, MP-5, Uzi, Galil and several others.

As useless as they've become for DA/CQB, running an MP5 on the group-therapy setting is truly fun.

If you have the means, or can get one issued to you, I highly recommend you pick one up.

As far as therapy, the G18 is to the MP5 what Prozac is to aspirin.

But, picking up either one of those isn't going to happen for me, unless I win the Powerball.

Then you can get both!

I tried my hands at the m4 and a few clips back in April.  It was great, but I was a little disappointed that the 30 round mags were only loaded with 25 rounds.
