| Need recommendations on gun shops in the alb. area. looking for some glock mags (decently priced) and ar accessories. also who is familiar with doing some class 3 stuff up here? how hard is it to get the chief leo to sign off on it? |
| I didn't reply because you said you wanted "GOOD deals + Glock/AR Stuff = Albuquerque". That's like saying 1 + 2 = lightswitch, it just doesn't make sense. There deals to be had all over in town but must of them aren't good. Anything (purchase over $20) you find and want in town will be had online delivered to your door for the same, if not less expensive, online. I will support a few locals based on friendships and history but after seeing the way the local dealers (and online dealers) reacted to this last ammo/gun shortage I now know who I will not be supporting. |

For Glock mags, try Cope's Distributing. All of the local gunstores around here have turned into crack dens, trying to gouge on every sale. If you're looking to do a Class 3, set up an LLC. That way, the CLEO isn't required to sign off. For transfers, use Paul Lisle or Don Hardy of D & M Guns. |

Go online for most of that stuff, it'll be better prices even with shipping than most places in town.
For class3 do an LLC or Trust(what I did) so you don't have to worry about it. I have a friend who gets leo sign off but he goes up to santa fe to have a state cop sign off on it because he has had issues with bernalillo sherrif a couple times. The group of c3 FFLS here is getting scary small. I think Calibers does them and I know a friend used the guy at August (heard rumor he got shut down). I was using a member here who had his license but he moved back east. |

August Arms for C-III Stuff, they have moved and now everything is by appointment only.
Best bet is to shop around on-line, ABQ has a few shops and it's hit or miss. I'm not going to name names, but one shop has a Colt 6920 with a tag that said Regular Price $ 1,999 - special $1,799

The post NObama prices are freaking insane.
Send me an IM, as I have a few virgin lowers that I no longer have plans for, due to the inability to find the parts that I want/need. And, I won't assrape you on the the price like some of the other fuggers on this site. ETA: Ausgust Arms is the biggest ripoff, braggart, POS that I've ever met in my life. Caveat Emptor. |

That's where I got my last one and it is not a brand I recognized by it is nicer lookin than both my Armalite and my other one (I forgot what brand it is). Very nice though and a good guy to work with. Him and his wife are fu to watch interact.
I'm actually selling my Armalite to use the one I got from him instead. Slim |

Slim The finish was easily the nicest I have ever seen on a lower. Especially a stripped lower. I still need to buy one. Once all this crap clears up I think a nice 9mm build would do nicely. SBR and a can... |
