does this shop annoy anyone else here, seriously? i mean i'm trying to give the guy business but when the prices are not competeative and his service 80% of the time is pure unadulterated crap what am i supposed to do? i want to buy local but damn.

i've met this guy outside the store he's really nice when he isn't there.

who knows... all the other shops in town we're either too high in price or were out of product.

all i wanted was a magazine, i would have bought 2 from custom but they were out. CB had them for more than sportman's warehouse. even though i returned the SW purchase because when i looked at it at home the brand new mag was all beat up and scratched. i refuse to go where someone doesn't want to work for business.

all in all more of a vent i know. maybe i'm the only one.?

Whenever I'm in 'Cruces, I stop by there to see if they have the ammo cans that I and a few friends want.(great selection).  I usually walk away empty handed, except for a few of his cans.

Yeah, the older guy(I suspect the owner), and the younger guy who is there most of the time act like their prices are lower than most.

Typical Gunstores, trying to make a killing off of a few sales.

I know that this is capitalism, but I'm into getting the best bang for my buck.  If I can find it on the innanet, cheaper than what these guys can sell it, guess where My $$$ is going?!?!?!

To me, gunstores are pretty much a place where I go to 'fondle' a new toy, and then find it for sale on gunbroker, auctionarms, or some other place much cheaper.  Buy it, have it xfer'd through a local FFL and save some $$$$.

The guy at Command Bunker is a douche. You are not the only one that feels this way. Many of my friends refuse to go there for ANY thing.

Multiple times I have walked in there with the intention of buying something expensive but left because he is a rude asshole.

Custom Cartridge is overpriced but I like the fact that I am keeping my $$ in local business.

Ray and Emerson the gunsmith are good people that I will always support even if I can get something a few bucks cheaper Sport mans Warehouse.

ETA: I do buy a lot of my ammo on the net or sportmans.

I dont care for command bunker much neither. I've only ever bought one gun there, but probably won't again just because of the guy's attitude.

I think total bullshit when the guy wants to charge $100 or so for a gun transfer when Traderman pawn will do it for $10.
