Just purchased a dpms 16 lite at a gun show for 675.00 a couple of months ago. Have fired about 1000 rounds of various brands of ammo through it and the only malfunction was caused by loading 30 rounds in the 30 rond magazine. Of course they warned us not to do this when I was in the Army but that was 20 years ago and you can't remember everything.
Anyone else in the Hobbs NM area?

That can be cool too, especially as it saves you from having to buy a rear sight.

I live in Albq..

As for the shoots, I'm mean the NM ARFCOM shoot that's usually down in Cruces.  You could say it's hosted/organized by Title_Shot_Va,  I've missed the last 2 but hope to get some time off work for the next.

Welcome, I had a DPMS also and never had a problem with full magazines. You might want to try some different mags.

Hey, hobbsar. Congrats on the purchase. Another fellow former service member who still has black rifle disease! he
I served in the Army in the early 90's and we were pretty much using 20 round mags at that time, so that is what I primarily use. I am just more comfortable with them. That being said, I probably did not help you much.

If your AR eats pretty much anything, I would say the same as Punkkin mentioned and check out a different make of magazine.
