| New member here located on the mountain just north of "Weedy Rough" and east of Bugscuffle (if you're local you'll know where that is), but I did a good many years at LRAFB along with other stations. Retired Q11M3B (AF DAFSC, so, yes, I know what "howdy" really means when stated in the cockpit), but I don't know if I'll apply for a tank. OPSEC is important to me, no FB, no cell, though here I am tooting my horn worldwide anyway. Pretty wary and skeptical of social media. Though an enthusiast, I'm not a big operator on AR, front post sight visually represents 3 Minute-Of-BeerCan anymore. Use scopes to get the deer/hogs/'diller's. But I do enjoy shooting practical pistol on my place. Southern Appalachian native, but I track well with the people that have adopted me here. You can guess my politics, but differences don't bother me that bad, it's easy to get away from those who pontificate too much. So, my first post is a "ping" to folks in the area who might enjoy the same things, and some quality red-neckin' time. GD nutcases can wait. Cheers |
Whale cum!    There may be a few troublemaking trolls lurking, but for the most part everyone is good people here in the HTF. A large change of pace from GD, as many here have met at least once or twice at a dinner or shooting event.  OPSEC is fine, and even encouraged as long as you're not too worried about chem trails and mind control beamz from "the man"  |
