Northwest Lawrence Southeast Saline county here. We missed all the bad stuff but got lots of wind and lightening. Power is still flickering and there will be lots of flooding tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully that's the worst of it for us. Good luck everyone else! |

Were in vilonia and the in laws lost everything. Three cars house shed everything is leveled. We hve found some of their guns. It's hard to look at. Did they have a shelter? You guys need any help? Crazy night... They are OK. They always go to their church when there are storms as it has a big shelter. I'm so thankful that they did! It's hard to describe the destruction! |

Someone posted a photo on Facebook from Batesville asking if they knew a Cory Wayne King. This photo was a pic if him when he was 3 years old and more than likely came from my in-laws home that was destroyed in Vilonia. Our family was lucky as they were at their church when this came through and not at home as it completely wiped out their place. I also work for Windstream the local telephone company for vilonia and we took a pretty hard hit. Not only in Vilonia but Rosebud, Pangburn, Tuckerman and Swifton. But all in all as bad as this has all been it could have been even worse. |

| Bad news all around. My dad and some my wife and I's best friends live about 6 houses apart in Mayflower. It went right between them. Every house in between is gone. Dad lost a few shingles, my friends still had magazines sitting on their deck table. It dropped all kinds of stuff out of the sky into their yard but didn't budge anything of theirs. |

I was in Vilonia for work today and what do I see driving down main street? The DAMN Google Earth car! Hell of a time to try and update! Was delivering equipment to one of my contractors. One of the Cyan shelves got tore up pretty bad. It was still working not sure how but I decided to replace it on my terms when I wanted to and not wait for it to die in the middle of the night. |

I don't know if it made the news there, but one of the folks killed in Vilonia was a C-130 Loadmaster with the Arkansas ANG. I worked with this guy when I was TDY to Little Rock AFB for about 8 months. He was protecting his 5 year old daughter when the house came apart.
