Are there any local gunsmiths or metal lathe guys that can turn a standard 10/22 barrel?
Looking for a standard thread/recrowning 1/2x28 I just don't want to spend $250 on another TacSol barrel or wait 3 weeks for an out of state service. Ben |

Just called VETS, and as expected they were very cool on the phone. I was Quoted $75 to get my Rem 700 .308 threaded. Great price, only issue is the turn around is currently 3 weeks and I need it back ASAP.
But I will definitely be taking them some work in the future. |

I think they said they had to remove barrels for 700s to thread them. I bet that would ad to their lead time. I have had them do a bunch of work for me in the past and its always top notch. They are stand up guys who always get first dibs on my gun money. Their reloading selection is small but quality, they don't stock stupid shit like Ft Thompson and gander. |

My name is Kurt Underwood. I am the Sales Manager at Armtac. Jeb Burnett is the VP out here. He is super busy and probably won't answer his phone. Give me a shout about threading your barrel. We charge $125 for common threads. We are about 2-3 week lead time on machining work. Thanks
