My wife and I are thinking of taking a motorcycle vacation to Arkansas.  What are some of the must ride roads and must see attractions?  Also, if you know of any locally owned biker friendly hotels.  I'd rather give the money to a small business rather than a national chain.  I haven't started any of the trip routing, yet, so all information is appreciated.

I don't own a motorbike(wife won't let me). But I recently returned from Eureka Springs this last weekend. Saw many Bikers in the town and riding about the roads around the town. There are many curving roads around the area. Also many hills. Some of the most challenging roads I have driven (I am from the flatlands of Texas). Many beautiful views and pretty country on the drive from Little Rock to Eureka Springs.

Whatever you do, don't plan on finding much in the way of a hotel in Northwest Arkansas if you come when Bikes Blues and BBQ is going on in Fayetteville. Unfortunately, that is where some of the better roads for cruising around on a bike and enjoying the scenery. Eureka Springs is a definitely a nice place to stay and ride around.

If you want to attend when BBB is going on start trying to find a room now. You might get lucky and find a place.

You could also stay right across the border in Missouri and travel down into Arkansas. Plenty of people do that during BBB if they can't find closer hotel rooms.

I'll add a second to the Eureka Springs area. Lots of nice roads to ride. Also, lots of mom and pop's bed-n-breakfasts in the area. Could easily spend a couple days in this area riding and enjoying the local flavor.

Thanks for the info.  Keep it coming.  As far as the blues event, that looks like it's at the end of Sept.  We'll probably be coming down in June.
BTW, is Arkansas a helmet state?
