Hey Folks.....I know some of you have some RCS holsters and love them. I'm looking to start carrying my Sig P228 and need some advise on which holster....the Phantom (which hooks are better for IWB carry) or the Appendix Carry Rig. What experience have yall had with these....especially with a larger framed pistol. |
| Raven IWB is very uncomfortable in my experience (Glock 36). OWB, however, is still very concealable (I've worn a full size M&P 45 with an X300) and I prefer this when I can dress appropriately. I love my UCR IWB, but the wait time, for me, was even worse than RCS. It is very comfortable with the 36, as well as the full size 17. |

I dig mine for my 226/x300. But I got in before they were cool. Maybe a different QC situation now?
Ive found that I can pretty much carry the sig combo under any shirt that fits right. Its as comfortable as anything else ive used, which is saying something given the bulk and weight of it all. |
