Well there is good news and bad news. You know the old saying about "the best laid plans and all......"

So here is the bad news first. I didn't make any progress on the target stand today (as of yet)

The good news is exactly 1 min and 53 seconds after posting this thread, DG called me and informed me that my agenda had been changed and there would be no building said target stand. I was told to bring a gun and lots of ammo given 25 minutes to the rondavue point. Never one to question a superior I complied, all the while wondering if it was fo time.
The new agenda involved going to shoot IDPA at CASA

  Good times had by all

ETA: Be advised I am now the owner of the Infamous DG G17

Be advised...do NOT shoot them with 5.56 inside 150 yards. I had my other one replaced with the one above. The steel holds up to 300 win mag, but that tiny 5.56 is hell inside 100 yards. DG shot the old with the 6.8 inside 100 with no damage. Those smaller bullets are hell on the steel.

ETA: LV Steel is good people.
