I was gonna go to the gunshow today and walk around and try to sell my new G19 RTF2. I am wondering if it is still legal to walk around with a sign or whatever showing the price and what it is. And sell it to anyone that is at the show.

Thanks fellas.

Well if it is not legal any more there was a bunch of people there Saturday walking around trying to sell their guns.  Think that was just some BS thing they were trying in TX.  Some states do require all transfers go through a FFL but not Arkansas.

Cool beans, glad you got er done.  It was a small show, I got there early and was able to pick up some 62gr wolf cheaper than I could mail order it, however it was the only pack of 500 they had.  The only other thing I picked up was some .30 carbine ammo and two mags at a good price.  There was a real good turn out for Saturday morning, wish they had a larger site for the show, maybe get more dealers.  I usally skip this smaller show but I'm glad I made this one, it was better than the last one I went to there.

Too late now but one thing to remember is that handguns can only legally be sold to residents of the same state.  i.e you can only sell a handgun in AR to another AR resident.  This is Federal law and includes private face to face sales.  Now I know this probably goes on all the time but of all the places to NOT do it would be a gun show site.  There almost assuredly are Feds lurking about.

Good advice.  At the very least, I would reccomend that you see their AR diver's license.  It probably would not be a bad idea to write down the info on it, in case you get a phone call about the gun in the future.

Gunshows.... especially ones near state lines, are places to..............be kinda careful at.

Thanks for the great advice. Just so happens the old fart that bought it is a guy I see all the time over at FT. Thompson's. Thanks again.
