Each one of the gunshows at the fairgrounds gets a little crappier everytime I go. rough estimate of only 70% of the tables had guns. Lots of regulars weren't there that I was hoping to talk with or buy stuff (like the glock guy and the "good" softgoods guy) The blue room (smaller room by exit) looked like harborfreight exploded. You could even get a used motorcycle or a used tiller... I keep thinking "I need to go and pay my $7 ($8 w/o coupon) to help support the local gunshows", and I keep coming back wondering why I just wasted enough $ to reload a few boxes of shells. Color me dissapointed. (again) |
FYI Brownells is better for "window shopping" to find the fun/cool stuff that's desirable, but I usually google up the item for much less than there once I've decided what I "need" lol... I do shop there and like it, but they are on the high side IMHO. You didn't miss much at the show. |
GAH! nice deal on the saiga, I woulda been alllll over that. I ended up at the show on saturday afternoon for about an hour while my girlfriend was at a hair appointment. It was less than spectacular, NO reloading components anywhere. I didnt see any deals on anything really. Almost bought some beat up 20 round AR mags for 10 bucks, that wasnt a bad deal, but all I really wanted was some primers, and nobody brought any to the party! |
