Hello socandyman,

Welcome to the AR home town foram. There are not a lot of posters here but I will try to help. I belive sbr/aow/fa are all legal here in Arkansas. As far as how hard they are to get aproved I don't really know becouse I haven't done any personaly. I'm sure someone will come along with some more information. Are you thinking about moving to Akansas? That would be great. There don't seem to be to many people here doing much AK stuff and you would be a welcomed addtion to this area. Come here anytime and I will try to help you fell at home...

A premature Welcome!

All NFA is easy to get, even in the capital, and most liberal city, Little Rock.

If you have any more questions about our state, please let us know!

Hope you get to come down to AR - what part are you possibly headed to?

There is another benefit of FA in Arkansas - its legal to hunt with as long as the caliber is appropriate for the game!  M60 - deer hunting - the possibilities are endless (at least until the end of the belt)

Welcome!!

All the NFA funness is available and there seems to be plenty of LEOs for signing off. (If not, LLC is only 150 a year)

If you come to the northeast corner, I've got plenty of stuff you can play with.

Socandyman, I'm a transplant here from the People's republic of California.
I was absolutely shocled, and enormously pleased, to learn that there are essentially NONE of the restriction I lived under in the PRC.
I'm an AK guy too, I'm in the extreme NW corner.

As other have said... very friendly state.

In Craighead County (Jonesboro and surrounding), Shrf. Jack McCann will sign about anything that's put in front of him (from what I understand).
