Just moved to Little Rock, been living in Jonesboro since 1999. We really do need to get a group shoot/cookout/shoot the crap get together going. Hell, if nothing else, how about just a plain old cookout at one of the state parks. I know we cant shoot there, but its a start.

That sounds like a good idea. Let us wait until the weather is a bit more temperate. It is just too damned hot to enjoy something like that now. I may have just the place to meet. Cookin, fishin, and shootin. |

The area that I had in mind is a no go. It is safe to shoot, so long as you know where everything is and are a safe shooter. The possibility of a mishap is too great to have a large group of shooters there. I believe that ya'll are safe shooters, but the more people that you have, the greater chance that an accident will occur and the risk is just too great. There is always Mayflower

We have several welding machines. Steel and aluminum. We have two presses that are not dedicated. A 1 ton and a 50 ton. You are welcome to come by if you like. Our shop is in Jacksonville. |

Well, now that it's getting cold and I assume everyone (but me) is probably going for a deer or two, a sping time shoot would be prudent. There is always the range up in Paragould, or if anyone is a member of the Practical Pistols groups and can meet at the range in Bono (and I can walk there). I work with several nuts who are always probing me to do a shoot one weekend. We are so busy at work (Best Conveyors) that most of us have been working weekends for two months with no end in sight. So let's say we revisit the issue in say, Feb/March for a formal gathering, but of course if anyone is hitting a range, be sure to let us know. BTW, anyone have some private land to do some plinking on? Maybe some place that next year they wouldn't mind sharing for a hoof harvest? |
