Today was a lot of fun! I forget how many people showed up. I want to say there were approximately 20: two groups of 10 for shooting. The weather was a bit chilly in the morning, but by around 11:30 or so it warmed up to tshirt weather. Can't wait for the next one. |

Quoted: Awesome time, guys! Thanks for the hospitality! George and I will be back down later this year for another match. We had fun despite our individual physical and mechanical failures. It was nice to meet you all! -Chris Chris, were you wearing the black Tshirt with the BFL on the sleeve? I saw someone there in the other group with that shirt and I meant to come say hello. Always got sidetracked setting targets back up, etc. Next time. |

Quoted: May try to make it up that way next weekend...out of curiosity what's the rifle yardage max usually? This would be a first to your range for me so I've not seen the layout... In case he doesn't respond prior to this weekend, I thought I'd chime in. Last month was my first 3G match there. I've emailed him a bit about it and had the same question as yours. He said max was about 100 yards for rifle when I asked, IIRC. We were supposed to be shooting 75 yds last time, but he wasn't able to be there and others set up the course, so we only ended up shooting ~15 yds for the rifle. It's a nice range, you'll like it! Hope to see you there. I should be there with my wife again. |

Quoted: Here it is Wednesday night... ...and I realize I should have asked about the round count...Thanks for the response KA... No problem. Here's a copy and paste from the KSCCW thread regarding the shoot. "The Outback's next 3 gun is May 21st. Check in @ 9am match starts at 10am sharp. You will need aproximatly 75 rifle, pistol rnds, and 25 to 30 shotgun #6 shot or smaller. We can use help setting up at 8 am. The stages will be really cool this month email me if you have questions" In case it's not clear, it's 75 rounds for Rifle and 75 for pistol. Also, NO STEEL CORE ammo allowed...they check! |

Quoted: Now that I (am supposed to) get weekends off, I need a shotgun now too so I can play. If you want to come play tomorrow you can use my equipment. There'd be some back-n-forth swapping going on all match, but you're welcome to it. Yes, that's right, I'm sucking up to management now, lulz. Seriously, give me a call if you want to come. My wife and I will be there (she's only shooting me...with the camera). ETA: Is all you need a shotgun? |

All I'd need would be the shotgun and ammo for it, yes. I have a rifle and pistol and plenty of ammo.
Here's me shooting the one I want. My friends 12 year old son was running the camera, so please forgive the sound effects and commentary. http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i102/pickle1414/?action=view¤t=CLIP0091.mp4 I had to play captain for 2 Transport Canada checks today, then we went to the Josh Groban concert at Intrust tonight so today was never going to work. Soon..... soon..... |

Quoted: Haha, nice vid! "The damage is extreme. That gun rocks!" Good job by the camera man! All I'd need would be the shotgun and ammo for it, yes. I have a rifle and pistol and plenty of ammo. Soon..... soon..... ![]() Too bad you had to work. Hopefully you'll be able to make the next one. If you're able to pick up that shotgun that'd be great, but if not, my offer stands. Yesterday was pretty fun, although the match ran slow in the beginning. There were a lot of shooters and the first stage (first two, actually) required the whole range cleared since we were shooting longer range with the rifle, so it took a while to get through the group. Once we split into our two squads and had the two groups shooting at the same time the pace sped up quite a bit. There were some really fun stages, included the "SEAL Team 6" stage where you enter the room, take out the body guards, Bin Laden (even his ugly mug taped to the head of a target, lol) and shoot his wifey in the leg. Was really tempted to shout "Dirka dirka dirka!!!" as I entered the room. Fun time! |
