I recently moved to Olathe and came here looking for Kansas ranges to shoot at, but I don't see a list of them here. Come to think of it this board is awefully quiet. Where are all the Kansas shooters? Help me out guys. Aside from the Bullet Hole (which is only for pistols) I still have to drive back to the Missouri side to shoot. Don't really like driving so far just to shoot. |

I know of two ranges near Olathe. The first is Powder Creek. I haven't been there but I have heard it is nice. It is near 83rd and 7 Highway. http://www.powdercreek.com/ The other is Mill Creek Rifle Range in DeSoto. It is off of 83rd street on Gardner Road near the river. This range is where I shoot my Highpower matches. It has a good range that goes back to 300 yards. We can shoot 500 yards if we shut down the range during approved matches. Hope this helps. |

Wichita has Bullseye! with an indoor 25 yard pistol range and 100 yard indoor rifle range- also lotsa full auto/suppressed stuff and handguns to rent. Located NE at roughly at 13th and Oliver in da 'hood! Used to be an old post office! I used to work there, the guys are pretty cool- Especially HARRY!- the old fart! Also there is Bulletstop, which is a much smaller/spartan range, 25 yard indoor pistol only. Located SW at Pawnee and Seneca (?) |

I live in a Olathe also Welcome! I go to Parma Woods it is the best range I have found. It takes me about 35 min to get to. You don't have to worry about someone looking down at you because you have a black rifle. There is someone there all the time with AR's and M1A1's. Have never been to Millcreek it sounds good.
