If you have something you'd like to use as a target, bring it. (Just remember you have to clean it up Sunday Eve)! 5 PM- Range sweep and clean up 6:30- ? Our main instructor had to cancel due to a work related injury. DYlan from Mako says he may be able to help, so we may have another! Cost: Your camping fees! 12-18 a day depending whter you want elec hook up. COmpetition stages may charge a Nominal fee to cover supplies. ($20-30? for participants) THe open shoot is free, However as in previous years we ask for a donation to give to a worthy cause in the town of Anderson as a "thank you' for allowing AMGA to hold our event in a great facility, the vehicle targets, etc Note: Spectators are free to ask weapon owners if they may fire said weapons. weapon owners generally ask for a donation to cover thecost of ammo being fired. And of course, bring whatever food, drink, bug dope, gas and supplies you may need for the weekend. There are no stores in Anderson to buy supplies. UNless you can get onto clear AFS, you'll have to drive to Healy or Nenana if you need something. Generally we have a vendor that sets up to sell ammo if anyone needs it. Also the Local Boy Scouts usually set up a small refreshment stand that stocks coffee, sodas, water, chips, Candy, etc. In previous years we've had larger explosives demonstrations to thrill the crowd. THis year the Anderson City Council has asked us to tone it down and limit the size of the boom. Sadly, this means we won't be evaporating cars and trucks with industrial explosves anymore. However, we'll have lots of smaller, but still gratifying reactive charges to thrill the crowd as they engage the target arrays. I've contacted Riverside park manager and they say we are the only folks that have reserved camping spots and the range this year. remember to bring dollar bills for the showers! THey use tokens that you purchase on site. We will have numerious Range Safety Officers on site. Even so, please keep an eye out for safety and observe all Firearm safety rules and procedures!! Ear and Eye protection are mandatory for anyone on the firing line, and highly recommended for spectators. Parents will be responsible for their children PLEASE! Let's all work together to have a safe and fun Memorial Weekend! Please refer any questions or comments to : [email protected] |

I was being a beer pusher, I wanted to get the keg drained so I could get my deposit back. We succeeded. Also I discovered the worlds best beer cooler for a keg, take a therma rest, wrap the keg, bungie cord it on, throw a bag of ice around the perimiter, and then throw a winter coat around the whole apparatus. it kept beer cold for 3 days.
