Anyone carrying a M&P 9mm compact with thumb safety?

Tell me about it!

Viper used to have one.  I liked it until I shot it.  Damn thing bit me when reloading it.

I carried one for about a year. Nice little gun and i didn't have any complaints about. Shot really nice and was reliable. Didn't have any problems with it. I liked the thumb safety on it. It was paired with a cross breed holster and it was really nice carrying. I'd probably still be carrying it if i didn't get in a USP Compact .40.

I was wondering how small they are. Are they larger than say a G26? I have trouble with the Baby Glocks

Thanks

Comparing them side by side it's a tad bit longer then a G27. The grip is smaller on the M&P but i also have the small or medium palm swell in it. There is still 1 or 2 sizes bigger for bigger hands.

I personally like the trigger in the M&P a lot better then the glocks. I couldn't get used to shooting the tiny glocks.

Where in AK are you at? I could bring it out sometime if you want to try it out.

Sounds like it will be too small. I accidentally ordered a brand new Raven Concealment MagPul cut holster for a compact instead of a standard size, so I thought I'd get the gun to go with it. Isn't that the way to do it. hehehe

Thanks,

Decided not to get the compact, guess I'll just sell the holster. Raven now has an 18 week backlog

I have an M&P40C.  Compared to a G27 its about a quarter to half inch longer and pretty close to the same height as the G27 if the mag has the flat floorplate.  The extended floorplate allows me to get a full grip with all my fingers but makes the grip longer.
