My last truck is 12 years old.  I've had it for 10 years. The truck before that, I had for 11 years.  So I am keeping them for about 10 years on average.  This one SHOULD last that longer as well.

In the past, I always got what I could get and could afford.  This time I bought what I wanted!!!

Bought this one through Chevrolet of South Anchorage.

Like you, I have always driven older trucks and kept them 10 years or more. last one was a 94 Suburban with 200,000 on it and it is still going. Before that was a 79 1/2 ton chevy pickup with 150,000 on it. Now I have my 2010 Silverado like yours in emerald blue with 4000 miles on it. Awesome truck, the Du-ha underseat rifle storage unit is killer. You can store all the shooting gear under the seat out of sight.

Those guys have always been dicks and have horrible service, they will never see a cent from me.

AK sales and service downtown has a much better operation. FYI

ETA: Sweet truck, I hope you're happy with it.

While were at it Lithia Dodge are a bunch of assholes too. Had my waiting for parts they ordered that never showed, horrible service. Brought it in because you could smell gasoline when you started the car, they couldn't find anything wrong with it and i get it back and has the same problem. Made a funny noise when driving and they said i needed a new serpentine belt, when actually i needed a new trans. Anc Chrysler Dodge is miles ahead of them and i haven't had one complaint about them.

No shit...called and made an appointment for my truck.  Week goes by, appointment day I bring it in first thing (like they asked) and waited for 20min cause the "service rep" my truck was assigned to was late.  The other reps wouldn't help me out cause they had their own customers to deal with.  Then they didn't get to my truck until the next day.  Not sure why I even made an appointment.  Never again will I go to Lithia.
