Anyone receive damage to their property yet?
I woke up this morning to a large spruce tree lying next to my truck.

Wasilla, Knik: Parts have been without power for well over 24 hours. I have lots of pissed off tenants. No water, heat, toilet everything. I told one pissed off tenant that he needs to brush up on his caveman skills. Cut up a few trees blocking driveways but no damage. Glad my generator is quiet. DSL works too.

You have powered toilets? |

Yup. I hear snow is expected on the 29th. It's snowing...or at least white flakes are falling....on Fort Rich right now. ![]() I see snow on the nearby mountains... Very small, intermittent flakes are coming down outside Palmer area. It sure came about quickly this year. I wonder what kind of winter it will be? I'm guessing a hard one. |

The wind is back gusting up to 40 mph range right now. Also supposed to snow/rain mix for awhile. Anyone else? Couple of inches of snow with wind gusting up to 30mph. Roads are slick. Just the normal screwed up weather for out here. ![]() Yaa Hooo! Bring on the snow! I hope we get burried this year. Snow machineing was terrible last year.

Quoted: It won't start. It ran fine about 2-3 winters ago and it sat on the trailer till now. Same gas and oil inside. Battery is shot i know that. New ignition might be good as the EX lost the key to itQuoted: Hopefully i can get my sled working before the snow gets here. No idea WTF is wrong with it though. Whats wrong with it? Spent all my time going through all the snogo's last winter. |

You can start them with the key part unplugged but you will not have lights.. What kind of snogo? Try and drain the carbs if it is carburated. |

Try and drain the carbs if it is carburated. It's a polaris indy 500. Somewhere between 95-97 The ignition isn't even wired up. I've tried to pull start it but it wouldn't. I was thinking of just picking up a new battery and ignition just for the fact of not having to pull start the damn thing. I know it was working but we just stopped using it and now it won't start |

Might be time to rebuild the fuel pump also if it hasn't been touched in awhile. Thats a bomb proof motor. Wish Polaris would make them again along with the 400 and 440 fan. Ahh dammit, i didn't want to sink too much (or any really) money into this thing. Brand new pump is about $20 or so. I think. Rebuild kits are less than that. |
