i was looking at ways to take a family trip to AK. i want to take some guns with me. but going through CA is out of the ? with them. i see there are ferrys you can drive ur truck and trailer onto in WA and take them up to AK. can ammo and guns be brought up?
thanks for any ideas how to get there with a pistol. CA sure is a pain in the ass stuck |
| You can take the ferry from WA to South Central (Anchorage area and road system) but it's going to be pricey and the cross gulf ferry is only running once a month this summer. If you want to see South East, no problem but if you're doing that, there isn't really anywhere to drive once you get off the ferry. Google AMHS and you'll be able to price the ferry ride and see schedules. |
