So I got my new flash hider and I dont know how to put it on( all previous ones have been pre-attached). Do I need any fancy tools or vices or will a cressant wrench do it? Reason I am asking about this in the HT forum is if I need tools I can trade use of tools for beer.

It is a YHM phantom and I think that I got it on, I didnt back on and off like you are talking about just put washer on just like the previous one was on(pointy side of O facing down and then tightened until it was on pretty tight. Will my not tightening and backing off and re tightening cause it to loosen up over time?

| No that's fine, sometimes you have to get a little more umph to tighten the washer, backing it up a bit gives you a running start so to say. The phantoms are good flash supressors, I just installed my first one a few weeks back. I beleive a 52c or 5c2 or something like that. |
