Not fining much luck anywhere else with this question so I'd figure its worth asking other Alaskans.
Does anyone know the difference in the ballistics of the 4" barrel vs. the 500ES 2.75" barrel? I've shot the 4" and am familiar with it. Anyone have the 500ES? Thoughts? Thanks |

Thanks I wanted the 460 in 2.75 but I cant seem to find any anymore... as far as the ballistics go, there will be less velocity and b/c of this less kinetic energy upon impact... my first question would be "what are you planning to do with this gun?" I would assume backpacking for bear protection since you want a short barrel... 600GR hardcast for 4" or shorter barrels, second from bottom |
