What are places around Anc/the Valley charging to transfer a suppressor. Is it like most things where it would be cheaper to get it online and then sent in or is it even worth it?

Looking at either a Tac-65 or a YHM Mite

When I checked last spring it was cheaper to purchase through a local class 3, versus buying outside and having the local class 3 transfer it to you.  The dealers get dealer pricing, and generally charge the MSRP plus shipping.  The MSRP included the dealer fees.  Tax stamp on top of that.

Otherwise it was pay MSRP, plus dealer fees, shipping and tax stamp.

I went over to AK Tactical. $160 for transfers!!! I thought it would be like $50. That kinda just killed the idea of getting it transferred. They are about $70 higher then online but after the $160 id be saving money.

Ended up buying a YHM Mite. Now i just need to get my .22 Barrels threaded and wait.

huh?  so the mite was $70 higher than on YHM's site?  Where were you going get the Tac 65 ordered from? If it was direct from Tac Innov then there shouldn't have been a dealer fee on that.

for future reference ammo can does transfers as well as some kitchen table dealers.

I found prices online for them at $190. AK Tactical came out to $260.

I called Ammo Can after i got home from buying it and they only charge $50 for transfers. So if i bought it online and transferred it through them it would be $20 less then what i just paid.

What kitchen table guys do Class 3?

Is there any time difference if a dealer here gets in on a form three from somewhere else rather then straight from the company? Or is it the same? Kinda new to all of this. I figure its less BS to have him deal right with YHM then to go through somebody else.

No difference

In fact, with some of teh manufactures, if you want it in a relatively reasonable amount of time, its often easier to find it somewhere else for sale and buy it that way

of the two suppressors I have purchased I have only paid msrp + shipping (@$15)  I know Chris M in Fairbanks doesn't or at least didn't used to Keith Stegall here in the valley doesn't charge extra other than shipping on top of msrp

Last time I talked with Mannino he quoted MSRP + his transfer fee (which is or was a sliding scale based upon value)
Not saying its right or wrong, just saying that is how he chooses to do business.
He pretty much is the show in town anymore

Where in town can i get barrels threaded. NOT including WWG. Looking to get my Ciener .22 barrel for my Beretta and an old Stevens Bolt .22 Both threaded. I don't have a problem sending out the Ciener but prefer not to send out the Stevens

There is a former WWG gunsmith (IIRC) who recently opened up shop
His rates seemed reasonable

I went through Bob Haller for my suppressor.  He was good to deal with and had reasonable rates.  He is listed on the AMGA website.
