The AMGA 2009 Competitive shoot schedule is a GO!
I appreciate the interest that folks have shown in having regular NFA competitive shoots. We currently have 12 committed shooters. I’ll plan on conducting a firm roll call prior to each shoot to ensure we have a quorum. We’re always looking for more shooters so please continue to spread the word. All NFA guns/cans are welcome. Additional info will follow in late February or early March. Planning for the Anderson Great Alaska Machine Gun Shoot is underway. More info will follow shortly along with a call for participation. If you haven’t been to an Anderson shoot before they are not something to be missed. Any and all types of guns are welcome during the open shoot. Start practicing – we’re gonna have some fun! Matt ––––––––––––-General Info Below–––––––––––––––– March 28 May 23 (This will be the statewide 2009 championship in conjunction with the Great Alaska Anderson Machine Gun shoot. More information to follow) August 22 October 10 These shoots will be open to any and all NFA guns. They will primarily be geared toward subguns, short barrel rifles, short barrel shotguns, suppressed pistols/carbines/rifles, or assault rifles. If we can get enough interest in a belt fed competition I'm sure we can put a course of fire together. Entrance fees will be discounted for current AMGA members and the cost will be set to just cover range fees and materials. The shoots will be held at BRSP with the exception of the state championship. I'm open to suggestions on other locations. |
