Is the public welcome to show up and watch, or is it pretty much limited to AMGA members? Will anyone be renting guns for spectators to use? Is it an all day event? When is the best time to be there? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. Leo |
| Yes, you can show up & watch! Some people may be renting guns, I did last time but won't be attending this trip. Yes, it'll be an all day event. I don't know the schedule however, perhaps someone else can chime in on that. I usually roll up around 10am or so for shoots. |

Hi, The shoot is open to spectators. If you want to pitch in when they 'pass the hat' to recover funds you would be able to shoot anything you'd like to bring. It doesn't have to be NFA to be on the range. I haven't heard anyone say they're bringing rental guns. The AMGA isn't running the shoot this year. It's being managed through the Fairbanks shooters using TVSA insurance. The 'schedule' (it's going to be a pretty informal affair) is that the shoot will be on Sunday. Start time is usually around 11am but I haven't seen a confirmed time yet. Could be anywhere from 10am - 1pm.... If you'd like to drop me an email to [email protected] I'll send you a phone number for the shoot organizer - Charlie. He would be able to provide additional information. Good luck. I hope to see you there, Matt |
