I am heading down for a day at Glam Gulch this weekend. Having never been there, can anyone fill me in on what to expect Thanks Chris |
| The parking is above the beach about halfway from the top. Easy walk down but not back up. Some people take a four-wheeler and head a ways down the beach away from the larger groups of people. The last time I was there (May) I got 4 to 5 inch clams. Enjoy yourself |
Clams, Damn Clams!!!! I finally have moved up here from KC a couple weeks ago and have spent two thirteen hour days in Ninilchick with my wifes uncle cleaning the little bastiges!!! He`s in his 80`s and has a little side business going. Clam Gulch is up the road a bit from here and today and tomorrow are some of the best clam tides of the year. I personally don`t want to see another clam for a while!! On the bright side I made enough $ for another upper

| Razor clams Mike. They are very tasty and there are no advisories down here I`m told. The only problem is all the tourists are clamming for the first time and don`t know how to find the big ones. By the time you finish cleaning the little ones, the isn`t much meat left. |
