Drove out here this morning to do a 2 hour job (by tomorrow I'll have this written out to the tune of Gilligan's Island) and got stuck because the road is closed. Anyone in Kenai want to go for dinner or something? I'm at the Soldotna Library right now but leaving soon. (907)748-7447 is my cell. | Sound like you had a bad time there Shadowblade, good food, good friends and all on the Kenia. My first 24 hours living in Homer was great except for the wifes car being stuck with all of the snow that came down last night. We went out for some Mexican food and a I had my first beer in most since August. It was called Hommer Pale Ale and was pretty good. |
We live up on the hill side over looking Homer and got a good foot or more. Nice way to greet someone on their first day off slope. I was in Kenia this afternoon and stopped by a gun shop called gaters guns or something like that. The guy inside seemed cool and I found some 30-06 m2 ammo for a fair price. Any other gun shops in the area? Any gun shows coming up ? We will have to get Shadowblade to bring some of his new toys south this summer and get togother for a shoot. I think I still owe shadowblade breakfast. Kenia and Homer have to be in the sunbelt area of the state. You all have a pretty short winters down here.
