It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, here is a webcam shot from my office/shop in my back yard.

Beautiful day even up here in Fairbanks. Woke up at the crack of noon, checked email, hopped in the shower, went out and got a snack. Off to the shooting range playing with rimfire in full auto, had the range almost all to myself. Young squared away dude rolls up, does some quick practice with an MP5/40 before tomorrow when he has to do some training as our LE have gone to .40's. I had to switch the rimfire upper for my shorty .223 and let some rip in rock and roll mode to keep up appearances. Hot girlfriend in back of his truck seems as bored as can be, wouldn't even look around. Went home and swapped the car with my motorcycle and went for a ride. Went out to a really nice place to eat, sitting at a window enjoying the scenery and live music. Went home. This is a banner day for me. Would have been nice to not have done it alone though - I like the feeling of a chick behind me on my bike, or having someone to eat or OMG shoot with me. Still working on that part but still had a great day. Damn I wish I at least had a dog.
