I need to SBR my AR-15 for an incoming suppressor/upper.  I have all of the paperwork done.  I need two fingerprint cards.  Can anyone help me with this.  I will be in Anchorage this weekend or would pay for the mail if someone would send them to me.  I also would be more than happy to drive somewhere in fairly close proximity to Fairbanks at your convienence.

Before you go straight to Anchorage this weekend, try stopping at the gun show at the Wasilla high school first. I wouldnt doubt that there would be a fingerprint booth there but dont quote me on that. Just trying to save you some possible drive time and there's a gun show to boot! Might find some new toy....you ever sell that glock .40 commemorative?!? just curious.

Sorry, forgot to add that you can pick up some fingerprint cards at the following places in Anchorage:

Castech Fingerprinting services
6901 E. Tudor road #4   (Next to Body Tech gym)
337-5002

Hi-tech
In the University center mall at 3901 old seward

I'm certain that either would be more than happy to send you a set in the mail. give them a call.

Maybe I'm ignorant to the ways of Alaska since I'm from the lower 48... but don't they have them at the Police Station? That is where I got mine for my CCW and my Form 4's. They even do the fingerprinting for you.

Maybe not up there eh?

I just got some done recently in Fairbanks.  My partner is a C2 and provided the cards.  He, like myself when I was a dealer, just got them for free from ATFE forms center.  However, I believe where I got mine done would have provided them.  I used a volunteer unit of the local Fairbanks PD (I called them and asked what to do to get them done).  They do this once a week and it was $10 per card to get fingerprinted.  The deputy director signed off on my form without even seeing me, no hassle, too cool!  The troopers there will sign it while you stand there and wait.  God I love this state!!!

Lucky you!  You won't believe the time I have had trying to get a signoff in Anchorage.

If anyone needs help going corporate and forgetting those fingerprints, photos, CLEO junk, let me know & I'll help you out.  As for prints, Cas-Tech is the place to go!
