Sorry for the dumb request, but suggestions for a pain free FFL in the DSM area?  I used to use the Grimes liquor store guy but he's off selling corn whiskey and slide rack accessories apparently.

At one point I remember an IFC/Iowa Carry connection, which I would happy to contribute.  Been skipping the gun shows lately.

Rhine Group in Ankeny.

CCA in Baxter is probably the IFC connection you're thinking of.

Join IFC online ($35/yr) or at a gun show ($25 cash/yr) and you can get unlimited free transfers through CCA in Baxter.

I would 3rd Rhine Group in Ankeny.  Both transfers I did this year I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Don't do CCA if you want to be in and out in 15 minutes.  That place is an NFA rabbit hole.  Bring a towel for the drool.

Thanks all.  I'll still do the IFC thing but Ankeny is much closer, checking out Rhine.

JT guns on Merle Hay.  Good guys, though I have not done a transfer through them.  IIRC, 15 for cops, firefighters, mil and vets, 20 for other folks.
